Change in the composition of the Board of Directors of KBC Group: Elisa Vlerick succeeds Baron Philippe Vlerick

At the General Meeting on 7 May 2026, it was proposed that Elisa Vlerick be appointed as a new director for a term of four years. She succeeds Baron Philippe Vlerick, whose term of office as a director was due to end following the General Meeting.
Philippe Vlerick has been a non-executive director on the Board of Directors of KBC Group and a representative of the core shareholders since 2005.

Elisa Vlerick studied law and also holds an MBA from IMD (Lausanne). She started her career as a lawyer at Allen & Overy before gaining experience in international corporate and investment roles at other companies, including Novartis and SGS. Since 2020, she has been a partner at Ninepointfive Ventures, a venture capital fund specialising in industrial technology and corporate venturing. Elisa Vlerick holds several directorships. Since 2024, she has also been a director at K&H Bank, a subsidiary of KBC Group in Hungary, where she sits on the Risk & Compliance Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
This appointment serves as a continuation of KBC Group’s commitment to ensure that the composition of the Board of Directors is balanced, with complementary expertise, strong profiles, international experience and strong anchoring with the core shareholders. Elisa Vlerick will sit on the Board of KBC Group as a non-executive director, representing the core shareholders in the same manner as her predecessor.
