Euromoney proclaims KBC Private Banking the best Private Banker in Belgium for the 6th time. CSOB wins the award for the Czech Republic for the 6th time.

Euromoney, a leading British financial industry magazine, has once again named KBC Private Banking the best Private Banker in Belgium for 2020. Over a period of eight years, KBC Belgium has received this award for the sixth time.

CSOB Private Banking was voted Best Private Banker in the Czech Republic for the sixth time.

Euromoney bases the award of this prize on an extensive annual survey of professional players in the private banking market on various aspects of the services in their market segment. Based on the results of this questionnaire, the best private banker in Belgium and the Czech Republic is chosen.

Daniel Falque, CEO KBC Division Belgium, is extremely pleased with this award: "We are really proud to have won this award for the sixth time. I am convinced that we owe this international recognition to the dedication, thorough knowledge and customer-friendliness of our Private Banking and Wealth colleagues. We focus on our clients by taking their wishes and needs into account and provide them with tailor-made solutions. This award is a recognition of our professional and personal approach. “

"Euromoney is one of the most influential capital market magazines in the world. In addition to facts and figures, the competitive ranking is mainly based on the opinion of the competition, which makes success all the more valuable. But we win this award mainly thanks to our loyal customers, whom we would also like to expressly thank for their confidence in our services and our bank in general," said Martin Kosobud, Managing Director of ČSOB Private Banking.

In addition to the award for Best Private Bank Belgium, KBC won first places as best player for:

  • "business owners" (services aimed at entrepreneurs and the self-employed)
  • "Next Generation" services (exclusive benefits and services for the children of Private Banking customers).

KBC and Cera jointly establish the KBC & Cera Foundation to strengthen the mental wellbeing of young people
One in five young people struggle with moderate to severe mental health problems. This has been a growing trend for years that puts increasing pressure on their well-being and outlook for the future. Preventive measures are essential to tackling these problems in time and improving the mental resilience of young people, which is why KBC and Cera have jointly established the KBC & Cera Foundation. Drawing upon their many connections in broader society, they are now joining forces to structurally invest in mental wellbeing and better support young people where this has the most impact.
