Spaargids.be crowns KBC again: 'Best Bank' and ‘Best Digital Bank’
Once again this year, the readers of Spaargids.be confirm their trust in KBC, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who voted for us. More than 57,000 respondents cast their votes, with KBC once again being named ‘Best Overall Bank’ and ‘Best Digital Bank’. Since 2019, KBC has continuously won the Spaargids.be Bank Award for best online platform. Bolero achieved a second place in the award for Best Investment Bank.
David Moucheron, CEO of KBC’s Belgium Business Unit: “This recognition as ‘Best Bank’ and ‘Best Digital Bank’ is a strong appreciation for the quality of our service and the daily commitment of all our employees to provide our customers with an outstanding experience time and again. Thanks to our digital solutions and Kate, our digital assistant, our customers can manage their banking and insurance matters whenever it suits them: at home on the couch, on the go, or during the weekend with KBC Live. Our branch employees are ready to share their expertise for complex questions or at key moments. These awards show that our approach – digital first with a human touch – truly makes a difference. We will continue to innovate and develop smart solutions to help our customers save time and earn money. A sincere thank you to all our customers for their trust in KBC.”
Karen Van De Woestyne, General Manager for Digital Transformation and Ecosystems: “KBC’s strength as a digital bank lies in our continuous innovation, with Kate as the prime example. Kate is much more than a chatbot: it is a smart digital assistant that proactively thinks along with our customers. Today, more than 2.5 million unique users use Kate. Our mission to make digital transactions easy via smartphone and computer is clearly appreciated. KBC Mobile is now used not only to purchase or consult banking or insurance products, but also enables customers to manage their mobility entirely digitally. Thanks to the recently launched MyMobility, customers can easily arrange everything via KBC Mobile, with the help of Kate: from planning and paying for public transport, reserving shared cars, to even finding and financing a new or secondhand car. That is digital service that truly makes a difference.”
Céline Pfister, CEO of Bolero, adds: “Thanks to the trust of our customers, we again achieve second place in the ‘Best Investment Bank’ category. This recognition motivates us to go beyond expectations. Every day, we strive to make investing simple and accessible, with a quality platform, varied educational and informative content (podcasts, videos, analyses), a customer service that is available by phone, and support that simplifies administrative and tax formalities. As market leader in Belgium, we welcome many young and beginning investors every year, while continuing to offer our loyal customers a unique experience.”
