KBC takes measures following heightened terror threat

Like the rest of the world, KBC has been following today’s events in total disbelief. We are all deeply upset by the horrific attacks and dreadful suffering caused, especially because they go against the values of respect and tolerance KBC and its employees live by. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families and friends, to whom we express our sincere condolences.

As a result of the heightened terror threat and expected mobility problems in Brussels, KBC is proactively taking measures to ensure it can continue to serve its clients. The company has decided to have all employees based at its head office in Havenlaan, the CBC head office on the Grand Place and KBC Brussels head office to work from home or other location tomorrow.

KBC apologises for any temporary inconvenience caused by these measures.

The first priority is to ensure the safety of staff and clients. KBC will do everything possible and will take all necessary measures to that end.

KBC is following developments closely, taking into account the measures taken and advice provided by the government.
